let the second parallel side be x.
area of trapezium=34 sq cm
1/2×(sum of parallel sides)×height=34 sq cm
1/2×(10+x)×4=34 sq cm
(10+x)×2=34
10+x=34/2
10+x=17
x=17-10
x=7
