Given :-

One parallel side of trapezium = 10 cm

Area of trapezium = 34 cm^2

Height of trapezium (h) = 4 cm

To find :-

The length of other parallel side.

Solution:-

Let us suppose that length of other parallel side be x.

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × (sum of parallel sides) × h

34 = 1/2 × (10 + x) × 4

17 = 10 + x

=> x = 7 cm.
