The area of a trapezium is 35 sq cm and one of its bases and altitude are of lengths 5cm and 10 cm respectively.Find the length of the other base.

area of trapezium = 1/2 ×sum of parallel sides ×height

35=1/2×(5+x)×10

35=10+x

35-10=x

25=x

other base of trapezium would be 25cm
