The area of a trapezium is 360 cm and its height is 18 cm. If one of the parallel sides is longer than the
other by 4 cm, find the lengths of parallel sides.​

let the parallel sides are =x, x+6

height of trapizium =9 cm

area of trapizium=1/2 ×(sum of parallel sides) × height

180=1/2×(x+x+6) ×9

360/9=(2x+6)

40=2x+6

34=2x

x=17

hence answer=17, 23
