➡ Distance between the two parallel sides(height) is 40cm.

Given that, A trapezium having area of 440m² with two parallel sides of 15cm and 7cm.

We need to find the distance between the distance between the two parallel sides

Or, the height

We know that,

Area of trapezium = ½(a + b) * h

Where,

➡ (a + b) = sum of parallel sides of the trapezium.

➡ h = the distance between the parallel sides or, height

Procedure :

\sf \longrightarrow \: 440 {cm}^{2} = \frac{(a + b)}{2} \times h \\

\sf \longrightarrow \: 440 = \frac{15 + 7}{2} \times h \\

\sf \longrightarrow \: 440 = \cancel \frac{22}{2} h \\

\sf \longrightarrow \: 440 = 11h \\

\sf \longrightarrow \: \frac{440}{11} = h \\

{\orange{\sf \longrightarrow \: h = 40cm}} \\

Therefore :
