Given:-
- Area of Trapezium = 4400m²
- Length of 1st Parallel Sides = 30m
- Length of 2nd Parallel Sides = 14m
To Find:-
- The Distance between the Parallel sides i.e, height.
Formulae used:-
- Area of Trapezium = ½ × Sum of Parallel sides × Height
Now,
→ Area of Trapezium = ½ × Sum of Parallel sides × Height
→ 4400 = ½ × ( 30 + 14 ) × Height
→ 4400 × 2 = 44 × h
→ 8800 = 44h
→ h = 8800/44
→ h = 200m
Therefore, The Height between the Parallel sides is 200m
Some Basic Formulae of various Quadrilaterals-
- Area of Rectangle = Length × Breadth
- Area of Square = ( Side )²
- Area of Parallelogram = Base × Height
- Area of Rhombus = Product of Diagonal / 2

area of trapezium =4400m sq.
1÷2 (a+b) × h=4400
1÷2 (14+30) ×h=4400
1÷2×44×h=4400
44×h=4400×2
h=4400×2÷44
h=200m
i hope it helps you
