Area of trapezium = 1/2 (a + b) h

Given that one side is 4cm greater than the other

⇒ Let one side be x and the other side be x + 4

Solve for x:

475 = 1/2 (x + (x + 4) ) (19)

475 = 19/2 (2x + 4)

2x + 4 = 50

2x = 46

x =23

Find the two length:

One side = 23 cm

The other side = 23 + 4 = 27 cm

Answer: 23 cm and 27 cm
