The area of a trapezium is 54 cm square.The length of one of the parallel sides is 8 cm and the height is 6 cm. Find the length of the other parallel side.

area of a trapezium=1/2(Sum of parallel sides)x height

54=1/2(8+x)6

108/6=8+x

8+x=18

x=10
