There is a mistake in the question . It should be 18 cm. Not 18 cm^2 .

So, Here we go..

Given :- Area of Trapezium= 540 cm^2

Distance between parallel sides i.e. height =18 cm

Ratio of parallel sides = 7:5

Let the common ratio be x.

So, parallel sidea become 7 x and 5x .

Now, we know that

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × (sum of parallel sides) × height

540 = \frac{1}{2} \times (7x + 5x) \times 18

540 = \frac{1}{2} \times 12x \times 18

540=12x ×9

540/9 =12x

60 =12x

60/12 = x

5= x

So, the parallel sides are

5x=5×5

»\bf{25 cm }

7x=7×5

»\bf{35 cm }
