Let the other parallel side be x

We know that the area of a trapezium=

= 1/2 × (sum of parallel sides) × h = area.

Given,

area = 60 cm²
Distance between parallel side (h) = 6cm
One paralle side = 8cm

and we have assumed the other parallel side as x

So Let's put the value in formula

=> 1/2 × (8 + x) × 6 = 60

=> 1/2 × 6 × (8 + x) = 60

=> 3 × (8 + x) = 60

=> (8 + x) = 60/3

=> 8 + x = 20

=> x = 20 - 8

=> x = 12 cm

Hence, other parallel side is 12 cm

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️

Heya mate, Here is ur answer

Area of trapezium=60 cm^2

Distance between parallel sides = height of trapezium= 6 cm

One parallel side = 8 cm

Let the other parallel side be x cm.

Area of trapezium=1/2 ×(sum of parallel sides) ×height

60 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times (8 + x) \times 6

60 = (8 + x) \times 3

60 = 24 + 3x

60 - 24 = 3x

  36 = 3x

 \frac{36}{3}  = x

12 = x

So, the other parallel side of the trapezium=12 cm.

========================
✔A quadrilateral with only one pair of parallel side is said to be a trapezium.

✔Area of trapezium=1/2 ×(sum of parallel sides)×height

✔The perpendicular distance between two parallel sides of a trapezium is said as height.
