We know that the area of a trapezium

½×(sum of parallel sides)×height

then,

height = 30cm
area = 660cm²
one side = 28cm
let another side = x

then.

½×(28+x)×30 = 660

=> 14+x/2 = 22

=>x/2 = 22-14

=>x = 8×2

=>x = 16

Then the length of another parallel side of trapezium is 16cm.

The other parallel side of the trapezium is 16 cm.

Given: Area of trapezium is 660 sq.cm height is 30cm anf one of the parallel side is 28 cm.

To Find: Length of other parallel side of the trapezium

Solution:

Area of the trapezium is 660 sq.cm

Let other parallel side of the trapezium is x

Height of trapezium is 30cm

Area of trapezium is \frac{1}{2}*h*(sum of parallel side)

660 = 1/2×30×(28+x)

44 = 28+x

x = 16cm.

Hence,the length of the other parallel side of the trapezium is 16 cm.
