THE AREA OF A TRAPEZIUM IS 850 sq.m . ONE OF THE PARALLEL SIDE IS 64CM AND THE PERPENDICULAR DIASTANCE BETWEEN THE PARALLEL SIDE IS 17cm.FIND THE LENGTH OF OTHER PARALLEL SIDE.(WRITE THIS WITH PERFECT STEP).

HEY YOUR ANSWER IS HERE:-

AREA OF THE TRPEZIUM = 850sq.m
ONE PARALLEL SIDE= 64CM
OTHER PARALLEL SIDE BE 'B'
AREA OF TRAPEZIUM = 1/2(SUM OF TWO SIDES)*H
850sq.m = 1/2(64 + B)*17
850*2/17 = 64 + B
100 = 64 + B
100 - 64 = B
36m = B
so the other parallel side is 36m
