Let the length of other parallel side be x.
Area of trapezium=1/2(Sum of parallel sides)*height
Area of trapezium given=850sq.cm
A.T.O.
1/2(64+x)*17=850
(64+x)*8.5=850
544.0+8.5x=850
8.5x=850-544
8.5x=306
x=306/1/85/10
x=3060/85
x=36cm
Hence, other parallel side of trapezium = 36cm

area = 1/2 h (a+b)
850 = 1/2 * 17 (a+64)
850 * 2/17 = a + 64
50*2 = a+64
100 - 64 = a

therefore,
a= 36
