the area of a trapezium of height 3m is 12 m sq. if one of the parallel sides is 2m more than the other find the lengths of trapezium​

area of trapezium = 1/2 (a+b)h

12 m sq. = 1/2( x+x+2) ×3

12 = 1/2 (2x+2)×3

12 = 1/2×2x+2×3

24 = 2x+2×3

8 =2x+2

6= 2x

x= 3

one of the parallel side is 3m and other side is x+2 i•e 3+2= 5m.
