Hello...
Answer...

Solution :

We have,

Area of trapezium ABCD = 480m²

 =  >  \frac{1}{2} (AB +CD) \times   AL = 480 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{1}{2} (20 + CD) \times 15 = 480 \\  \\  =  > 20 + CD =  \frac{480 \times 2}{15}  \\  \\  =  > 20 + CD = 32 \times 2 \\  \\  =  > 20 + CD = 64 \\  \\  =  > CD = 64 - 20 = 44

Hence, the other side of the trapezium is 44m.

Hope it helped ☺☺☺☺

given
height=15 ,one parallel side=20
let other parallel side be x
we know, area of trapezium=1/2*height *sum of parallel sides
1/2*15*20+x =480
1/2 *300 +15x =480
1/2 +x=480/300×15
1/2 +x=
