The area of a trapezium shaped
field is 600 m2 the distance
between two parallel sides is 15
m and one of the parallel side is
20 m. Find the length of the
other parallel side.​

area of trapezium = (sum of parallel sides/2) × height

=> 600 = {(20+x)/2} × 15

=> (20+x)/2 = 40

=> 20+x = 80

=> x = 60

other parallel side =60 m
