area lf trapezium = 1/2 × ( sum of parallel sides ) × height
1/2 × ( 20 + x ) × 15 = 840
20 + x = 840 × 2 / 15
20 + x = 1680 / 15
20 + x = 112
x = 112 - 20
x = 92
