AREA= 48CM²
SUM OF PARALLEL SIDES=16 CM
FIND TO= CORRESPONDING ALTITUDE
ANSWER=
AREA OF TRAPEZIUM= 1/2 ×(A+B)×H
so,
48cm²= 1/2×(16)×h
48cm²=8× h
H= 48cm²/8
H= 6cm
H=HEIGHT OR ALTITUDE= 6CM
VERIFYING
1/2×(16)×6
16 DIVIDED BY 2
8
NOW 8 AND 6 REMAINS
8×6 = 48
so
48cm²
ANSWER = 6CM
ALTITUDE=6CM
