Hey

Let one of the parallel side be x cm

so , larger side ( parallel ) = ( x + 6 ) cm

Area ( given ) = 180 cm²

Height ( given ) = 9 cm

Now ,

we know that ,

area of trapezium =

1/2 ( sum of parallel sides ) * height .

A / q ,

1 / 2 * ( x + x + 6 ) * 9 = 180

=> ( 2x + 6 ) * 9= 180 * 2

=> 2x + 6 = 180 * 2 / 9

=> 2x + 6 = 20 * 2

=> 2x = 40 - 6

=> 2x = 34

=> x = 34 / 2

=> x = 17 .

So ,

smaller side = 17 cm

Larger side = ( 1 7+ 6 ) cm = 23 cm .

thanks :)
