the area of a triangle is 120 CM square its altitude is 15 cm find its base

area of triangle=120cm
height or altitude=15cm

Area of triangle =1/2*b*h
            120 =1/2*b*15
            240=b*15
              b =240/15
              b=16 cm..

let the base be b
now
area of the triangle= 120 sq cm
1/2 x 15 x b= 120
b = 16
base = 16 cm
