GIVEN:

● Area of the triangle = 240m²

● Base = 48m

TO FIND:

● Height of a triangle

SOLUTION:

As we know,

\color{cyan}\boxed{\colorbox{black}{area = 1/2 × b × h}}

where, b = base of the triangle

h = height of the triangle

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION:

1/2 × 48 × h = 240

☆ 48 × h = 240 × 2

☆ 48h = 480

☆ h = 480/48

☆ h = 10

Hence the height of the triangle is 10m.

Hope this helps you...
