\huge\underline{\underline{\bf{\red{Solution;-}}}}

\large\underline{\underline{\mathtt{\purple{Given:-}}}}

Area of triangle which is :-

\sf\implies 240m{}^{2}

and it's base which is 48 m

we have to find the corresponding altitude or height of triangle

Now

\large\underline{\underline{\mathtt{\red{According\:TO\:QuEstion:-}}}}

We know that the area of triangle

\sf\implies \frac{1}{2}\times base\times height

Now put the values which is given :-

\sf \frac{1}{2}\times48\times height=240m{}^{2}\\ \\ \sf\implies 48\times height=240×2\\ \\ \sf\implies 48height=480\\ \\ \sf\implies height=\frac{\cancel480}{\cancel48}\\ \\ \sf\implies height =10m

The height of the triangle is 10 cm

Now let's verify our answer:-

\large\underline{\underline{\mathtt{\purple{Verification:-}}}}

\sf \frac{1}{2}\times48\times10=240\\ \\ \sf\leadsto \frac{\cancel480}{\cancel2}=240\\ \\ \sf\leadsto 240=240

__ L.H.S=R.H.S. ___

Verified !

\large\boxed{\underline{\underline{\mathtt{Height=10m:-}}}}

GIVEN :-

  • Area of the triangle = 240m²
  • Base of the triangle = 48m

TO FIND :-

  • Height of Triangle

SOLUTION :-

  • Area of Triangle = 240m²
  • Base of Triangle = 48m

AS WE KNOW :-

\boxed {\rm \pink{ \frac{1}{2} \times b \times h = area}}

WHERE,

  • b = base of Triangle
  • h = height of Triangle

According to the Question,

:\large\implies\rm{ \frac{1}{2} \times 48 \times h = 240}

:\large\implies \rm{48 \times h = 240 \times 2}

:\large\implies \rm{h = \large\frac{240 \times 2}{48} }

:\large\implies \rm{h = 10}

Hence,

The Height of Triangle is 10m.
