area of triangle =1/2×b×h

36=1/2×9×h

36×2/9=h

h =4

Area of the triangle = 36 cm^2

1/2 base x height = 36

1/2 (9) x height = 36

height = (36x 2)/9

height = 8 cm

height of the triangle is 8 cm
