AREA OF SQUARE =S×S=60×60=3600
Given ,
area of triangle=area of square
1/2×b×h=3600
1/2×b×90=3600
b×45=3600
b=3600/45
b=80m

Given,

Area of a triangle = Area of a square

Side of the square = 60 m

The altitude of the triangle = 90 m

To find,

The side (base) of the triangle.

Solution,

The side (base) of the triangle will be 80 m.

We can easily solve this problem by following the given steps.

Now, we know,

Area of the square = side × side

Area of the square = 60 × 60

Area of the square = 3600 m²

According to the question,

Area of a triangle = Area of a square

So,

Area of triangle = 3600 m²

1/2 × base × height = 3600 m²

1/2 × base × 90 = 3600

45 × base = 3600

Base = 3600/45

The base of the triangle = 80 m

Hence, the side of the triangle (base) is 80 m.

( More to know: The perimeter of square = 4 × side and the perimeter of triangle = sum of all the three sides. The sum of all the angles in a triangle is 180°.)
