Given that altitude of the triangle = 28cm.

We know that Area of triangle = 1/2 * base * altitude

                                                   = 1/2 * x * 28.  ------- (1)

Given that area of square measures = 35cm.

We know that Area of square = s^2

                                                   =  35 * 35

                                                   = 1225cm^2.

Given that Area of square = Area of triangle

1225 = 1/2 * x * 28

1225 * 2 = x * 28

2450 = x * 28

x = 2450/28

x = 87.5 cm.

Therefore the side of the triangle = 87.5cm.

Hope this helps!
