Given:-

Area of triangle = Area of a square.

Side of a square = 70m.

Height of the triangle = 98m.

To find:-

The base of the triangle.

Solution:-

Area of square = (side)²

= (70)²

= 4900 ..

Area of triangle = Area of square = 4900

Now,

Area of triangle = 1/2 × b × h

=> 4900 = 1/2 × b × 98

=> 4900 = 49b

=> 4900/49 = b

=> b = 100 m..... (ans)
