Area of triangle is 1/2 bh and parallelogram is bh
given
b=15,h=8 for parallelogram
b=20,h=? for triangle
area of triangle and parallelogram are equal
so, 1/2 x 20 x h = 15x8
         10 x h =120
          h= 120/10 = 12
therefore the altitude of triangle is 12cm
