The area of a triangle is equal to the area of a square whose each side measures 10 M find the length of the side of a triangle corresponding to the altitude measuring 5m.


PLEASE HELP ME !!!!

As we know that
area of square = side × side
area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

then given that
area of square = area of triangle

=> 100m^2 = 5/2 (side corresponding to altitude)
=> side = 100 × 2/5
=> side = 40 m
