Answer:

The other side of the triangle is 12 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

✅Area of triangle = ½ base × height

✔️Area of triangle 1 = ½ × 6 × 5

✔️Area of triangle 1 = 15 cm²

✅Area of ∆ 1 = area of right angled ∆ .

15 cm² = area of right angled ∆ .

Area of right angled ∆ = ½ ×product of

sides containing

the rt. angle

✔️½ × 2.5 cm x b = 15 cm²

✔️2.5 × b = 30 cm

✔️b = 12 cm

Hence the other side of the triangle is 12 cm.

Answer:

AREA OF TRIANGLE 1

Area of triangle = base×altitude/2.

=(6)×(5)/2.

=30/2.

=15 sq.cm. .

BOTH TRIANGLES HAVE SAME AREA= 15sq.cm.

also, area of right triangle =base×height/2

=15=b×2.5/2

=15×2/2.5=b

=30×10/25=b

=12=base

therefore, base and other side of triangle =12 cm

things to remember:

  • attitude is also known as height
  • area of right triangle is base × height/2
