the area of a triangle whose base and corresponding altitude are 16 cm and 7 cm respectively is equal to the area of right Triangle in which one of the side containing the right angle is 14 cm find other side of the right Triangle​

(i) Here, base = 18 cm and height = 3.5 cm

Area of the triangle = ½ x 18 x 3.5

                                   = 31.5 c m2

(ii) Here, base = 8 dm = (8 x 10) cm = 80 cm [Since 1 dm = 10 cm] and height = 3.5 cm

SO,

Area of the triangle = ½ x 80 x 15

                                  = 600 c m2
