Given:

✰ The area of a triangular field = 431.2 m²

✰ Base of triangular field = 78 m

To find:

✠ Height of triangular field.

Solution:

The area of plane figures is the measure of the surface enclosed by a side. We will use formula of area of triangle to calculate height. As we are already provided with area and base of triangle. Putting the values in the formula and then doing requisite calculations, we will find out the height of the triangular field.

Let's find out...✧

Area of traingle = 1/2 × b × h

Here,

  • b is the base of triangular field.
  • h is the height of triangular field.

Putting the values in the formula, we have:

➥ 431.2 = 1/2 × 78 × h

➥ 431.2 = 78/2 × h

➥ 431.2 = 39 × h

➥ h = 431.2/39

➥ h = 11.06 m

Height of triangular field = 11.06 m

Given :

  • Area of Triangular field = 431.2m²
  • Base of Triangular field = 78m

 \\

To Find :

  • Height of Triangular field

 \\

Solution :

✰ As we know that, Area of Triangle is given by ½ × Base × Height . So Simply we will put the given values in the formula to find the Height of the Triangular field.

Putting the Values :

⟹ Area of Field = ½ × Base × Height

⟹ 431.2 = ½ × 78 × Height

⟹ 431.2 × 2 = 78 × Height

⟹ 862.4 = 78 × Height

⟹ 862.4 / 78 = Height

11.06m = Height

Therefore Height of the field is 11.06m
