Given:

  • Area of the flag = 2700 sq. cm
  • Base of the flag = 60 cm

To Find:

Perpendicular distance from the tip of the flag to the third side.

Solution:

Area of the flag = 2700 sq. cm

Base of the flag = 60 cm

Height of the flag = \frac{2 \times Area}{Base}

:\implies \frac{2 \times 2700}{60}

:\implies 90 cm.

\boxed{Height \: of \: the \: flag = 90 cm}
