Given :
The area of a circular field = 154 m²
Find the radius of the circular field :-
Area of circle = πr²
=> 154 = 22/7 × r²
=> (154 × 7)/22 = r²
=> 49 = r²
=> √49 = r = 7
Find the circumference of circular field :-
Circumference of circle = 2πr unit
= 2 × 22/7 × 7 m
= 44 m
Convert the speed into m/sec :
5 km/hr = (5 × 1000)/(3600) m/sec
= 25/18 m/sec
Find the time taken by an athlate to complete 2 rounds :-
Time = Distance / Speed
= (2 × 44)/(25 / 18)
= (88 × 18)/25
= 63.36 sec
Hence,
The time taken by an athlate to complete 2 rounds = 63.36 sec or 1 minute and 3.36 sec
