We have,

Area of the triangle = (16√3) cm²

We know, Area of an equilateral triangle =  \boxed{\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4} s^2}

Let side be = (a) cm

∴ √(3)/4 a² = 16√3

⇒ a²/4 = 16

⇒ a² = 16 × 4

⇒ a = √(16 × 4)

⇒ a = √(4² × 2²) = 4 × 2

⇒ a = 8 cm

Henceforth, the length of one side of the triangle measures 8 cm.

More about an equilateral triangle:-

  • All angles of an equilateral triangle measure 60°. All sides are same.
  • The centroid, orthocentre, and incentre lie in a same point in an equilateral triangle.
