Heya!!

let the length of its sides ( equilateral ∆ ) be = x

Area of equilateral ∆ Having side length x is = x²√3/4

And it's perimeter is = 3x

ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION

x²√3/4 = 16√3

x² = 16 × 4

x = 8 OR x = -8 ( rejected )

So, x = 8cm

It's perimeter is = 3×8cm = 24cm

we know that Area of equilateral triangle is

√3/4a×a. therefore ,√3/4a×a=16√3 .a×a=16 ×4. therefore,a=8cm. perimeter of equilateral triangle = 3a=3×8=24cm.
