area of equilateral triangle =
 \sqrt{3}  \div 4 \times a {}^{2}

a {}^{2}  = 16 \times 1.73 \times 4 \div 1.73
a=
 a = \sqrt{16 \times 4}
a= 8 cm

Given : area of an equilateral triangle is 16×1.73
Then , we know that
Area = square root of 3÷4×a×a
So , 16×1.73=1.73 /4×(a×a )
=16×4=(a×a)
=64=a×a
=a=8
Thus the length is 8 cm
