Answer:-

We know,

Area of an equilateral triangle =  \sf{\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}s^2}

Let the side be = \sf{ x}

 \sf{\therefore \frac{\sqrt{3}}{4} x^2 = 4 \sqrt{3}}

\sf{ \implies x^2 = 4 \sqrt{3} \times \frac{4}{\sqrt{3}}}

\sf{ \implies x^2 = 4^2}

\sf{{ \implies x = 4}}

Now,

We know,

Perimeter of an equilateral triangle =  \sf{3s}

\sf{ \therefore Perimeter = 3(4 \ c.m.) = 12 \ c.m.} (Answer)

More:-

Area of triangle:-

  •  \sf{\frac{1}{2} \times b \times h}
  • \sf{ \sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}}

Area of an isosceles triangle:-

  •  \sf{\frac{b}{2} \sqrt{a^2 - \frac{b^2}{4}}}

a = 2 equal sides; b = third unequal side

Task for you: Recall the formula of the area of equilateral triangle!
