The area of an equilateral triangle is 64 √3 cm², then find its height.

we know,

the formula of the area of equilateral triangle is √3/4 ×a^2

According to the question,

or,√3/4×a^2=64√3

or, a^2=64√3×(4/√3)

or,a^2=64×4

or,a^2=256

or,a=16 cm

we also know,

height of equilateral triangle,h=√3/2×a .......(i)

now put the value of (a) in equation (i) we get,

or,h=√3/2×16

or,h=8√3 cm(ans.)
