Given:-

  • Side of an equilateral triangle = a cm
  • Area of an equilateral triangle = √3/4 a² cm²

To find:-

  • Find the height of an equilateral triangle ?

Solution:-

We have,

The side of an equilateral triangle is 'a' cm.

We know that,

The height of an equilateral triangle = √3/2 × a

According to the question:-

=> √3/2 × a

=> √3a/2

Hence, the height of an equilateral triangle is √3a/2 cm.

Some Important:-

Base and height.

  • A = 1/2 b × h (where b = base , h = height)

Three side.

  • A = √s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c) (where a, b and c are the length of the side)

Two sides and including angle (where a, b and two sides and c is the angle between them.)

Equilateral triangle

  • A = S² × √3/4 (where s = side)
