Answer:

area of a triangle = 1/2 bh

In a right angled isosceles triangle the base and height are the same.

so, let height and base be = a

area of the triangle = 1/2 x a x a = 128cmsq.

                                1/2 x a² = 128

                                  a² = 128 x 2 = 256

                                 a = √256 = 16

perimeter of  a triangle =  a + a + hypotenuse

     a² + a² = hypotenuse²

     16² + 16² hypotenuse ²

       512 = hypotenuse²

        hypotenuse = √512 = 22.6

perimeter = 16+16+22.6 = 54.6 approx.
