here we want to find the hight for that we can use Pythagoras therom
here ,BC =2
:•BD=DC=1cm
AB=4cm
According to Pythagoras theorem,
side sq =hyp sq -side sq
side=√hyp sq-side sq
=√4×4-1×1
=√16-1
=√15
there is no root for 15
here we find AD =√15
area of the triangle ,=1/2×√15×2
