Given area, A = 5x²+17x+6 ;

Splitting 17x as 15x +2x, We get

A = 5x² + 15x + 2x + 6

  = 5x( x+3) + 2 (x+3)

  = (x+3) × (5x + 2)

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

Hence, we can take the relation as

Length = 5x +2

Breadth = x+3

Answer:

Required Area = Area of rectangle - Area of triangle = 5x² + 6x + 4 - ( x² + 5x + 9 ) = 4x² + x - 5.
