the area of base of a cylindrical vessel is 300 cm^2 square water density equals 1000 kg m^-3 is poured into up to a depth of 6 CM calculate
(a) the pressure and
(b) the trust of water on the base is equals to 10 ns^-2

= 0.06 m × 10³ kg/m³ × 10 m/s²
= 600 Pa
Pressure exerted is 600 Pa

Thrust = Pressure × Area
= 600 Pa × 300 × 10⁻⁴ m²
= 18 N
Thrust on base is 18 N
