Hey your question is correct but option is wrong

in place of 400 is 4000

Given :-

●Area of basbHe of rectangle is 6500sq.cm

●And the Volume of tank= 26cubic.cm

To find:-

The depth of water

A.T.Q

We know that area of base of rectangle is

length× breadth

Volume of cuboid is l×b×h

Depth = height of that tank

  • First convert Area of base of tank in sq.m
  • 6500

  • Volume =26m^2= (26×100×100×100)cm^3

Now find the height

=> l×b×h= 26000000

=>6500×h=26000000

=> h=26000000/6500

=> h= 260000/65

=> h= 4000m

●So the depth of tank is 4000m

Answer:

Given:

The area of base of a rectangular tank is 6500 square centimetre and the volume of water content in it is 26 cubic metre.

Find:

Depth of water.

Using formulas:

[ Area of base of rectangle ]

 \tt\rightarrow \: Length \times Breadth

[ Volume of cuboid ]

   \tt\rightarrow \: Length \times Base \times Height

 \tt\rightarrow \: Depth = height  \:  of  \: tank

Calculations:

Using the above formulas, we get:

\tt\rightarrow Volume =26m^2= (26 \times 100 \times 100 \times 100)cm^3

\tt\rightarrow Length \times Base \times Height = 26000000

\tt\rightarrow 6500 \times Height =26000000

\tt\rightarrow Height = \dfrac{26000000}{6500}

\tt\rightarrow Height = \dfrac{260000}{65}

\tt\rightarrow Height = 4000 m

Therefore, 4000 meter is the depth of the water in the tank.
