Given area of base of the right circular cylinder = 154 sq. cm

Given height (h) = 14 cm

To find - Volume of the cylinder.

Volume of the cylinder = >

\pi \times radius {}^{2}  \times h

So, To find the volume we need to find the radius first.

Now,

As the base of the cylinder is a circle,

Therefore, Area of circle = >
\pi \times radius(r) {}^{2}

Therefore,

\pi \times  {r}^{2}  = 154 \\  \\ \pi =  \frac{22}{7}  \\  \\  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2}  = 154 \\  \\ 22 {r}^{2}  = 154 \times 7 \\  \\ 22 {r}^{2}  =   1078 \\  \\  {r}^{2}  =  \frac{1078}{22}  \\  \\  {r}^{2}  = 49 \\  \\  r =  \sqrt{49}  \\  \\ r = 7cm

now r = 7cm

Therefore volume of Cylinder =
 \pi \times r {}^{2}  \times h \\  \\  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {7}^{2}  \times 14 \\  \\  22 \times 7 \times 14 \\  \\ 2156 {cm}^{3}
