Question :

If radius of the circle is 14 cm , find its area.

Answer :

Area of a circle = π r²

=  \frac{22} {7} × 14²

=  \frac{22}{7} × \frac{14}{1} \times  \frac{14}{1}

=  \frac{ \cancel{22}}{ \cancel{7}} × \frac{ \cancel{14}}{ \cancel{1}} \times  \frac{14}{1}

= 44 × 14

 \small \underline \bold{= 616  \: sq.  \: cm}
