The area of cross-section of a pipe is 5.4 cm² and water is pumped out of it at the rate of 27 km/h. Find in litres the volume of water which flows out of the pipe in one minute.

Water passing through the cross section, W = 5.4 * 45000 = 2430000 cm3/min

W = 24300 m3/min

As 1 m3 = 1000 litres, water released per minute = 24300 * 1000
