Hey riya

area of cross section of pipe a = 3.5 Cm Sq

Rate of flow of water r = 40cm/s

we can understand that in 1 sec rate of flow of water = 40 Cm
thus, in 60 sec rate = 40*60 = 2400 Cm

Actual rate can be calculated by dividing the area of cross section of pipe
thus flow rate in one min = 2400 / 3.5
= 685.714 Cm
