CSA = 2/3 of TSA

CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

TSA of cylinder = 2πr(r+h)

By conditions,

2πrh = 2/3 * 2πr(r+h)

3h = 2*(r+h)

3h = 2r + 2h

h = 2r

Also,

2πr(r+h) = 924

2*22/7*r(r+2r) = 924

r(3r) = 924*7/44 = 147

3r² = 147

r² = 49

r = 7cm

h = 2r = 2*7 = 14cm

Therefore volume of the cylinder = πr²h = 22/7 * 49 * 14 = 2156cm³
