Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh Or πdh
where, r is radius and d is the diameter of base of cylinder.
Solution:-
According to given:
Diameter of base of cylinder = 28 cm
And
C.S.Area of cylinder = 1056 cm²
=> πdh = 1056 cm²
=> 28×h×22/7 = 1056
=> 22×28×h = 1056×7
=> 616 h = 7392
=> h = 7392 / 616 = 12 cm Answer
